Each vessel is cut from a single ox horn, so the marbling, the colour and the curve are unrepeatable. Mugs Unlimited grades them for a clean rim and an even wall.

The shape and the finish will match. The marbling is unique to each horn, so expect the same family of amber and charcoal tones in a different arrangement.
How should I clean it?
Rinse with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry it straight away. Horn is a natural material, so skip the dishwasher and long soaks.
What drinks suit it best?
Cold and room temperature drinks. Ale, cider, mead and water are what horn was made for, and very hot liquid is best kept to a ceramic mug.
Is the base watertight?
Yes. A fitted base is sealed into the horn and checked before it ships, so it holds liquid without seeping.
Does it have a natural smell?
A faint scent is normal at first and part of the material. A rinse with warm water and a spoon of baking soda clears it within a day or two.
